Frames of Reference, 2012 Photography Master Class

Frames of Reference was an 8 month Master Class with acclaimed Toronto photographer, Vincenzo Pietr0paolo.

Workshop sessions took place both at 401 Richmond St W and at various locations across Toronto; and incorporated a range of urban photographic challenges, e.g. Good Friday procession in Little Italy; cherry blossoms in High Park; Kensington Market, the St. Patrick’s Day Achilles Run, Dundas Square, etc.

After the 10 weeks, the group continued to meet for additional sessions to critique and select work for the Toronto: Street Level exhibit at the 2012 Abilities Arts Festival. The exhibition will run from September 21 to October 11th at Carlton Cinema Gallery. The Toronto: Street Level book will also be available for purchase. Join us for the Vernissage & Book Launch on September 21st from 5:30-7:30pm!

The photographs and exhibit will also be showcased throughout Nuit Blanche in a number of venues along Queen Street, at OCAD’s new Open Gallery at 49 McCaul and on the outside of 14 Queen Streetcars.
