The theme of this year’s Kids Fest! is:

My Secret Superpower

Of course, you have a secret power! You know there’s more to you than most people can see!

Maybe your secret power lets you see things that no one else sees. Or hear things that no one else hears. Or do things that only you know you can do.

Is this secret power something you only have in certain places? Or at certain times?

Or do you only have this power with certain people? Or only in your dreams?

Maybe this secret power gives you ideas for a better world? Or city?

Or a better school?

Or maybe just a better pizza!

What would you do with your secret power?

If you haven’t yet discovered your secret power, maybe this project will help you find it!

Tell us about it: in a story, a song, a sculpture, a picture….anyway you’d like.

We hope this theme will inspire lots of art projects: photographs, drawings, songs, sculpture, paintings, stories, poems.  In fact, we’d love you to document your group’s work on this project; and if you send one or two of these works to us ahead of time, we can display them throughout the festival.
